The cause of the explosions is because the air builds up in the mine and when they drill into it it just exploded. The chines had more of a ceramoney then we did for there lost family members. There conditions are worse of there though because we have the more high tec stuff then they do. We can go down into mines and say we have everything we need but they cant because they are still developing there equipment

Deepwater Horizon disaster

I don't think that just one person is to blame in this disaster.  But if I had to pick one person it would have to be us. We are the consumers here and we just take and take. If we hadn't been so greedy maybe the oil tank would have been build stronger and better. I think that if we wouldn't abuse this resource none of this would happen. I don't know how to justify this. Not just one person is to blame but we can't punish the whole world for this mess up.

5 similarities between In the Path of a Killer Volcano and Dante's Peak

One similarity is the frog thing when the guys say it's a recipe for disaster. Another one is that they have to fly over the volcano to see whats going on and to use there portable earthquake mesurer. Next is that there was always one guy who thought they should warn the town but the other guy said no it's best not to tell the town just yet. Also the volcano eruption happened right after an earthquake and everybody was running and screaming.

The tectonic plates are Arabian Plate and Eurasian plates. The plate boundary is divergent because the plates are moving away from each other. The most powerful earthquake was in 1999 and it was a 7.6 on the scale.

I think everybody would benefit from the dam and power plant because  the cost of power will g down because there is a lot more power to use. They didn't want them to mess up the dam and they wanted it to stay the same. The author says it is a good idea i can tell this because he is trying to tell people what a good idea it is and he wants it to happen now and not wait till people think it's time to. The author of the paper is the one who wants it to happen the most so the there can be more power. I think it's a bad idea because they would be building on burma's national heritage.

                I think this is how it is because the order is oldest is on the bottom and youngest is on the top also you can see in the picture that 4 is on the bottom so it is the oldest.  And 3 is on the top so it is the youngest now I put intrusion 2 after 4 because in the picture it looks like it came before layer 5.  After intrusion 2 I put down layer 5 because  I think after the intrusion  I think another layer witch is 5 covered the intrusion. 6 comes of five because to me it looks like it covers the top of the intrusion and layer 5. After 5 comes layer 1  I think this because  to me it looks like after layer 1 intrusion 3 came up through the cracks and made its way through the top making it the youngest. And this is how I think the order is.
